Patti Flynn is an endurance athlete, a strategy consultant, a race director, and a trans woman. She embeds her work as a DEI strategist into her passion for endurance sport. She has helped races such as the Chicago Marathon, TransRockies Run, as well as organizations like Running USA, and American Trail Running Association. The work she does in her endurance community is based on fostering inclusivity. From policy writing, to workshops and speaking to other race directors, she has become deeply involved in keeping sport a safe place for trans and non-binary athletes. In addition she is an accomplished endurance athlete herself, an ultra runner, Ironman finisher, and cyclist.
